ESRC OAU Set to Embark on Educational Trip for Leadership Exposure

 
The Education Students’ Representative Council (ESRC), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), has announced plans to embark on an educational parliamentary trip to Oyo State House of Assembly, aimed at enhancing leadership exposure, learning, and active engagement among its members, particularly newly inducted Honourable members.

The initiative is designed to provide participants with practical experience in parliamentary activities through educational visits, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. According to the leadership, the trip will serve as a platform to deepen members’ understanding of governance and strengthen their leadership capacity.

While speaking on the importance of the initiative, Rt. Hon. Tijani Abdulkareem noted that the trip serves as a critical platform to deepen the understanding of governance and strengthen leadership capacity. He further noted that the experience is designed to equip parliamentarians with the essential skills required to serve their constituencies effectively.

The ESRC leadership emphasized that the trip is an important part of members’ parliamentary experience, encouraging full participation to maximize its benefits.
