Protesters Gather At Gani Fawehinmi Park In Lagos, Lament Economic Hardship



Protesters on Friday assembled at Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos State, marking the second day of the nationwide #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest.

These demonstrations began on August 1, 2024, and aim to highlight the various challenges faced by Nigerians, urging the government to undertake significant reforms.

Participants in the movement are united in their call for an end to poor governance, seeking to draw attention to the urgent need for change within the country’s political landscape.

“Have Mercy on Osun”: NANS Begs President Tinubu to Release Withheld LG Funds

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee (JCC) Osun Axis, under the leadership of Comrade Afolabi Faruq, popularly known as Costa, has issued a fervent appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi, and other relevant stakeholders to expedite the release of Osun State's local government allocations. The appeal was contained in a press statement released by NANS JCC Osun Axis and jointly signed by its Chairman, Comrade Afolabi Faruq (Costa), and Secretary General, Comrade Joseph Oluwagbohunmi (Heir_Josheey).
